I want to buy an Apple iPod. Which model is the best value for the money? Someone said that the newer models are not as reliable. That they break down a lot. Is this true? What do you suggest?

I suggest not to buy apple products. Try another company

I have a 30G and I have had no problems with it at all. I feel that it's the best value since it's $300; a nano is $100+ and doesn't hold many songs at all and doesn't do video, and a 60G is $400 and to me, I'll never need that much space.

The 30G Video has the best bang for the bucks:

it depends on what you want to use it for...like if you want to be moving around with it or to listen to with a workout...then the nano...if you just want it while you relax and want to be able to put a lot of stuff on it...get the video

then the amount of GB that you want are basically how much stuff do you want to be able to put in it

my friends told me that the nano's can break easily but that's because they were stupid and weren't careful
