i am interested in setting up a wired home network however i don't know the difference between a Cat 5e and Cat 6 cable. Do both have the same shaped ends i.e. do both fit into the same port? Are there other differences?

I have about 10 remote sites with cable modems and I need to have them connected to a main site with a cisco ASA 5505. I could use the asa 5505 for all the sites but that would be expensive

Is there any way to do it after your account is already made without making a new account?!

Ok here's the short of it. We've got 3 PC's that we'd like online at the same time. 2 of them are absolutely fine, whereas the 3rd is just not having it.

The machine in question is running Win XP Home (the other 2 are running Pro) and all need to connect to our router. The computer that's not working didnt' originally come with an ethernet card, but it's seemingly installed fine. However, once connecting it to the router, it's claiming there is limited or no connectivity. Obviously, the router is fine because I'm typing this now (using one of the other comps).

One thing I've noticed is that booting up takes ages, and the mouse when being moved is "sticky". That is, it'll stick after every so often. Could it be that I've got a hardware compatability problem? Oh, and the card we put in is fine because it was ok in my brothers computer, also running XP Home.

Please help!!!
