In the links, it seems like the first one is actually cheaper than the one on amazon.com.
regardless those pc cards are all standard size, any of them would work. let me say "mostly" standard -there is always a different card coming up. If it says "notebook", get it.

Yes, each of these are compatible for any laptop, the manufacturer does not matter. However, just so you are fully aware, the D-Link is 802.11b and the Linksys is 802.11g. The difference is that the 802.11g specification is quiet a bit faster than the 802.11b specification. Also, if you usually use 802.11g and have even one node (any computer, game console, print server, or any other wireless device is a node on the network) which is 802.11b it slows the entire network to that speed, thus reducing the overall speed of all your network nodes.

I would also check to see what type of encryption each offer. The WPA is by far the most secure, but WEP is adequate if that is all which you can use. ALL devices or nodes MUST be the same type of encryption or the encryption and the network will fail. Just so you are aware.

Good luck and have a great day.

This is the total reasoning behind PCMCIA cards. Each slot is identical to the other, so if both laptops have PCMCIA slots, then the card will work in either machine. Now, be sure that both machines run the same operating sytsem, or you may need different drivers.

Yes, you can use this on the laptop as long as you have a slot to put the card in! And I think you need to have Windows XP or higher.
