I’m a backpacker and love the lifestyle very much, but the POWER SUPPLY and NETWORK for my NB annoy me all the time

My trip usually takes a month(sometime don’t live in hotel I love camping) I need NB to upload Pics or my DV(youtube) or my BLOG. but usually can not find a network , and NB can’t work after 4 hours with 2 battery

I know You are all rich in experience, share with me, please^_^
I think such a big site,my problem will sure be solved, right??

I am 17 right now and have 3 girls that want to date me on I have been dating for a while now and things aren't working. Everything worked with aol. But now with yahoo I can't get it to work. All I did was load the software with the new modem for yahoo. Please advise on how to hookup properly, or if I need something else.

another method by which i get the IP address, Subnet mask address, Default gateway, DNS servers and WINS server if present. In view available wireless networks i 15 becon with some have Network key while others do not have Network key i.e. encrypted and unencrypted (WEB). Please any help

Hey..my dad has earthlink and so one time i tried getting downloading AIM (instant messenger) onto his laptop which has earthlink, but I couldnt get on.. :(
So i DID have a different network on MY computer but i forgot the password so now I am switchin over 2 earthlink. I dont know if it will allow me to still do AIM or not, and if not, PLEASE PLEASE help me figure out a way!!! THANKZ!

(O and dont tell me to get wireless or another company..bc ive already tried that..and he sed NO! :[ )

please help, i have a datel lan adaptor for the nintendo wii, and i have connected the ethernet cable coming from the adaptor into the back of my computer not the modem as my modem doesent have a socket for the connection, it says to connect it to the modem, surley you can do this through the computer? ICS?

How does that IP hosting thing work? When you give your Ip adress out? How do you know your port?

Also if someone gives you an IP address, then a ':' then another number, what is that number

Can anyone Explain me on these topics:
1.If someone else has wifi i can use it without thre knowledge is it? i need not configure anything just like that i can enable this feature and use wifi .- then what is the point that person will loose bandwidth he will not get speed if it is that case then many people will do the same and no use
2.if i have wifi will otheres be benefited out of it without my knowledge - i will pay for wifi but others get benfited
3.is it really worth going in for wifi
4.at present is wifi good enough in which parts of the country other than USA

i can access the internet when ics is off on my host computer but when i enable it not even my host can access the internet ... im using an ad hoc network .... the host is connected to a dsl modem through an ethernet cable and my ad hoc network is connected through wireless cards

I have a computer that is way too slow. I have a P4 2.8 GHZ, 512 MB, and plenty of room on my HD. I am also running Windows XP Professional and a broadband connection. The problem is that in most cases, web pages will not load completely and I have to refresh the screen mutiple times in order to get it to load. Except for on rare ocassions, page loads are EXTREMLY slow and often require three or more minutes to load simple pages (I actually time them from time to time). When I try to play music videos on yahoo, they will play for a second or two, but then they buffer for several seconds before repeating this process. What could be wrong? I am sick of this thing, and the other computer hooked up to the same router is always much faster. You can tell that it is on broadband, whereas my computer make dial up look fast. Thanks for your help!

I just recently put a password on my router so that only those with it can access the internet using the particular network. But now, every five or ten minutes it just shuts the internet off or what have you and stays off for a minute or two and turns back on. It doesn't do it the computers I have it hooked up to, and I don't remember it doing it when I didn't have a password on it.

Is there a way to fix this or do I just have to get rid of the password?

Hi all I am connected to my wireless router. I have a usb wireless adapter on my desktop. My question is..is there anyway to see if I have any other connection options besides my wireless router? If so how do I check? A friend told me to unplug my router than check, but I'm lost lol. I went into my internet connection and it says my adapter is connected and so is my router. It says my Lan is unplugged which it should be. Thanks!
