please help, i have a datel lan adaptor for the nintendo wii, and i have connected the ethernet cable coming from the adaptor into the back of my computer not the modem as my modem doesent have a socket for the connection, it says to connect it to the modem, surley you can do this through the computer? ICS?

It should work, but you may need a 'crossover' cable instead of a normal Cat 5. You can find them at Radio Shack or a good computer store.

It will definitely need a crossover cable to plug into the PC or alternatively you could go for a cheap 4 port ethernet hub and connect the PC & the Wii to that.

yes. using both harmoniously right now.[so my feller says?me]
...if it seems not to work look 4 soft ware modem prg should get round it....
