My desktop motherboard has 2 ethernet ports. One which I am using is connected to the internet via router and the second one was never used. I don't want to buy a wireless router. I wanted to know how to set it up for the laptop to be able to use internet via the desktop.

i'm trying to find a way where is can extend the wireless range of my 2wire modem in a mac computer. Someone told me that HPNA will only work for Windows pc's. Is this true? If not,how can i have dsl signal around the house?

I went home over Labor Day and came back to school and attempted to connect to the wireless network that the school has. Before I went home my signal strength was always Very Good or Excellent, and now it alternates between Very Low and not connected at all. I connected to my wireless network at home and had no problems. Is connecting at home causing this problem now that I'm back at school? How can I fix this problem quickly because I need to access the internet in my room, so I can do homework! Thank You So Much!

I have a belkin 802.11g wireless network adapter and the other day it stopped working on my notebook. It gave me a code 10. Does anyone know what a code 10 is? It also stopped working on my desktop too. I called belkin and they said it was the computer but it stopped working on both and the desktop won't even recognize it. Help!

So we're setting up a wireless network between my DSL router and my brothers computer with a Motorolla wireless network card and the signal gets disrupted if the computer is in a certain spot. We had the computer downstairs which is a lot farther than my brothers room and it got the signal easily. Then when we brought the comptuer back up and try to get the signal with the computer in the computer desk it gets no signal. If we take it out and put in front of the desk it eventually gets a signal. I think it may be because of the shower on the other side of the wall of my brothers room. What do you think?

We have a very small network. 3 users.
We only have one published email address for our clients. I would like the 3 users to all work from the same mailbox INBOX and SENT items within Outlook from different computers at the same time. I know I can do this if I buy an exchange server. But is there another way or a cheaper mail server that can do this?

I would like to take the needed courses to get a cisco cert, How long are the courses and were is a good place to go for them so I will accually get a education on this art. I do not know networking or computers other than operationaly, but do know electronics. I am in the SF bay area, but if online is GOOD, please let me know this also.
