I have been contacted recently on MySpace by a person I dated as a teenager. I am not interested in reliving old times or establishing a new friendship. This person is married, and this was years and years ago. I am hesitant to engage the person by responding at all. Should I send a brief response or ignore the messages entirely?

If you don't want to establish a new relationship, than don't respond. If you ignore her she may forget or get the message. If she contacts you again, then you can send her a polite "I don't want to get to know you again" message. For now, leave it.

Send a short but nice response back Suggestions on subject matter might be,so nice to hear from you, what has she been doing all of these years ,or is she in touch with any of the old gang that you both knew, ask for her to send a picture of her and her family, stay in touch because it never costs too much to be nice. You don't have to develop a serious relationship to be nice.

I even ought to consider most of the responses all waiting. "ignore undesirable habit." it type of feels that her plight is to get you dissatisfied and that appears to be like operating. i ought to record her blog as abusive, delete her out of your pal's record, and block her from contacting you. this may nicely be puzzling for you, yet as has been suggested...you comprehend the reality and your actual friends will trust you. in case you pay too a lot interest to all of it, then your associates ought to ask your self if there is a few thing to it. some human beings basically prefer to be certain how a lot they could get yet another human being dissatisfied, so no longer responding or reacting to undesirable habit will avert a good type of grief. good success and if all else fails, close down your My area web page and commence over.

If you don't want anything to do with the person, I'd just ignore the messages entirely. Don't even bother responding.

Don't do it! They might be looking to refresh old feelings. Could be a whole lot of heart ache.

Hubby responded to a girl from high school, and it caused nothing but heart ache. Stupid people!
