I would like to take the needed courses to get a cisco cert, How long are the courses and were is a good place to go for them so I will accually get a education on this art. I do not know networking or computers other than operationaly, but do know electronics. I am in the SF bay area, but if online is GOOD, please let me know this also.

Why type of certification? My husband is a double CCIE working on his third. He is an expert in the netowrking field and it took two tries for each one to pass. You can get some lower level certifications, but you have to know alot. There are certification courses that you can take to help you pass the tests, but they are expensive.
