About wireless broadband?

Question

I've just bought a wireless broadband.. Do I need anything extra like to plug in into the computer? I hv 2 computers. PLEASE PLEASE REPLY!!!!

I mean like.. After I bought the Wireless Broadband (Router), i can use it already or must I checked the system 1st, the plug in..?

Ok you better give me best answer for this buddy:

1.) Unplug your ethernet cable (the one that is connecting your broadband modem to your PC) and plug it into the Router.

2.) You must have a wireless card for EACH computer you wish to have connected to the wireless router. You can have the PC closest to your router wired (not-wireless) because it is unessicary to have a computer that is not going to be moved around to be wireless. There should be slots on the back of the router, ETHERNET slots, take an ethernet cable and connect it form the back of the modem to your PC. Install the drivers with the CD that comes with the router

4.) Install the drivers on the computer you wish to use wirelessly.

5.) After installing the wireless adapters there should be an icon in your tray that shows a computer with signal lines coming off of it. Double click on that and refresh the connections, double click on the name of your wireless router.

I have 3 computer, I also use wireless broadband. But two of my computers are stucked.


I use wireless G connect.

I assume you mean you bought a wireless router. You also need some sort of wireless device in each PC. Most laptops come with built in wirells capability, but most desktops don't.

your 2 comp yu need a adapter yu take out the phone plug in and add the adapter it has a antena on it that picks up from yu router
