someone in my neighbor has a sniffer and is watching all that is going on on my network. I know I could secure it but I let alot of the local college kids use it and with them coming and going I didn't want to have to issue passwords. I this person actually told me he is watch all the activity on my network with his sniffer and high powered antenna.

I'm using a dlink di-624 wireless router, and the voip is plugged into the lan port.

Where in the configuration settings for the dlink can I find the serial for the voip's connection so I can tell it to do port forwarding?

I have a wireless router that I can connect to using my wireless connection, but if I try to connect it directly to my computer it won't see it.

I've tried disabling the wireless connection
I've rebooted both my computer and the router a few times
I've reset (discarded all settings) my router a few times

Nothing.

I'm trying to have a direct (wired) connection so I can update the firmware (software on it).

Any suggestions?

It's a Dlink DI-624.

I am using a NetZero mail account. I've tried searching all of the folders and I clicked the search button that searches your e-mail, but I can't seem to find it. I don't know what the subject of the e-mail is, and I don't know the exact e-mail address of who sent it.

I put a wireless router in my house 2 months ago and now I realize my main computer (the one hooked up to the router) now has an internal IP addy of 192.168.1.1 It used to be the real IP of 25.58.1453 (or whatever it was). Problem is... I used to use Windows XP's Remote Desktop Connection to access my computer at home from work or school. I dont know how to do that now.
