Look on craig's list - http://craigslist.com/ or
Freecycle - http://freecycle.org to find your local version, sign up and ask. You'll get it for free if you do get it.

if you are looking for an inexpensive adapter, take a look at linksys. they have a pci card and a USB adapter that doubles as a memory stick. net gear is the nest step up but i do not believe there is enough difference to justify the price.
