This is what is on my pc when i try to log in:

Limewire is illegal, and they say that the only way you can get into trouble is if some person comes to your house to repair your computer or something, and they find out that you have limewire installed.
but if you uninstall limewire and delete everything before they come to look at your computer, could you still get in trouble?

Blue screen on my laptop with error msg saying dumping memory...and some countdown to 100, then it reboots?

before that happened, i tried to install sims2, but it said that it's not compatible with vista. then i also tried installing alcohol120%...and that started it, when i tried to run alcohol, it also said that it's not compatible with vista, then after a few seconds, the blue screen appeared.
i also tried booting with safe mode(so i can uninstall sims2 and alcohol), but it still doesnt work and still having the blue screen after loading the components of windows.
but each time i tried booting on normal mode, it does continue to boot until it shows my desktop, but after a few seconds, the blue screen will appear again. (with the same error msg)
what seems to be the problem and how can i solve this?
can i replace vista with windows xp that i dont need to reformat my laptop?(coz i really need the files) and i can't back-up the files bcoz of those problem even with safemode.

I upgradded my ram from 1 GB to 2 GB, and I am certain it is working.
Only thing is, nothing's faster!
Nothing loads faster, crysis doesn't have higher FPS, my computer doesn't load up faster, and nothing else is faster.

Would it be better to have 4GB of some slow ram or 2GB of some ram that is twice as fast as the other ram when i think about it, it seems the same to me ...

Before leaving for vacation I unplugged the power strip that had my computer power cords plugged into it. After I cam home from vacation a week later, I plugged in the power strip. Immediatly after I heard a loud crack and sparks came out of the back of my computer tower. Now it won't turn on but my monitor is fine. Has anyone had this happen to them before? Whats wrong with it? Will I lose everything I had saved onto my computer? I really don't wanna have to buy a new computer. Thank you to those who help me.

Its a ati radeon HIS 512mb agp And Is a nvidia any better? I'm not happy with this one. It will not let me have color control over scrollbar and its really a light pastel color Hardly visible. Am I setting it up wrong or its it a lost cause?

Basically everytime I insert these cards on my one computer the autoplay does not start. I change the settings to prompt me and apply them, yet nothing happens.

I do not have this problem on my other computer.

How can I fix this?

ok i kno this sounds stupid.
but i havent been on my myspace for two days now cuz it says myspace been disabled please check back later or something like that..... its like an error that always appears on pplz myspace after their login. and my friends gotten it too but they can go on their myspaces but i cant yet... how to hack into my myspace???

Someone has offered to buy my jewellery online, but they want to send me an excess amount, that I am then supposed to forward some of to her son (i.e my jewellery costs $10, but she will send $20 then I forward $10 to her son). I want to change my desktop on my computer but I can't get rid of the last desktop. I dowloaded a desktop from my local arena football team and I tried two different ones and parts of both of them are stuck on my computer but I can get another one from the ones that are stored in my computer and they show up fine. i currently have my computer connected to virgin broadband 20mb package. the modem plugs into the computer through the network rj45 connector. i am thinking of getting a 2nd broadband connection, this time from o2, and their modem is wireless. i already have a 2nd network card that i installed which is wireless and not currently used. if i get the 2nd broadband connection (which is 16mb) and use the windows xp 'bridge network connections' option, will this combine both connections to create a 36mb broadband speed? thanks for any replies...

I have a second computer I'm connecting to my Comcast cable modem and the router has worked fine so far. My computer says that there is a connection there at 400 Mbps and everything should check out but when I go in my browser nothing works.
