Would it be better to have 4GB of some slow ram or 2GB of some ram that is twice as fast as the other ram when i think about it, it seems the same to me ...

2 Gb fast.

it really depends on what youre going to be doing with it. if you want to run lots of apps at one time, lots of slow. for basically anything else you want more fast ram. also take into account the amount in which speed differs, if it isnt too much then more ram will be more valuable. if it is quite a bit, the speed becomes a real issue.

You should only use the correct speed for your system. Faster ram will not give you a faster system and slower ram may not even work.

the quicker stuff will probably have better tolerances for overclocking...

also 4gb is no good for 32bit operating systems you will only be able to see about 3gb max anyway.

.........wow.... 4GD is faster 2GD is slower it depends on the ram you are buying if its crap dont buy it if its good buy it. all depends where you get it .
