Its a ati radeon HIS 512mb agp And Is a nvidia any better? I'm not happy with this one. It will not let me have color control over scrollbar and its really a light pastel color Hardly visible. Am I setting it up wrong or its it a lost cause?

Go to ATIs website and put the latest drivers in. If you dont like your color scheme that is something you change in Windows not in your video card settings. ATI makes nice AGP cards including the 2600XT, some running DDR3 and DX10 while Nvidia has old 6 and 7 series AGP cards that only run DX9. Contrary to what someone said, with AGP you need all the help you can get, so a 512MB card is a good choice. I'm sure that, after you get your new video settings tweaked and play some games and videos you may like it.

Since you mentioned AGP that means you are using it on an older system. 512MB on an older system is overkill. If you do not have full control you may not have the right driver for it or you may have a bad card or on that is just slightly loose - make sure it is seated firmly. I have seen AGP cards that have bad color but were slightly loose - they worked, just not as well as they should.

actually, the color management of your screen is really up to you not with the video card. it controls how fast the graphics can be seen but not really your color preferences.

Did you install the drivers? And nVidia is MUCH better.

if you install your scream´s drivers you´ll find a lot of software that will help with your problems
