I am trying to download Paint Shop Pro X from the CD onto the mac but when I open it up it only shows me all the folders. How do I download it?

You don't download from a CD, you copy the files. I'm not too sure on how you copy with the macs operating system, but usually you need to install new software, you cant just copy the files.

Read the instructions and look for the installation section. if you don't have the instructions, its probably a fake copy, or pirate, but probably not legal. (if second hand, check with the person you got the disc from, they should also give you the instructions as well)

Your terminology is a little confusing. Do you want to install a program from the CD? Most programs will auto start but if not, go to Start, Run and type in the letter of your CD drive. It will come up with the files. You want to run the one that has .exe and that is the program installation. Good luck. If you need further help, you may contact me.

Look for something that says Instal.exe or setup.exe. Or even an autorun.exe
