I have a second computer I'm connecting to my Comcast cable modem and the router has worked fine so far. My computer says that there is a connection there at 400 Mbps and everything should check out but when I go in my browser nothing works.

Thanks but that didn't work. I'd like to add that this is a brand new computer with Windows XP just installed and next to no drivers on there.

Well, George, if you are telling us that you have an internet connection coming out of the wall going into a modem, then attached to the modem is a router, then I think you should delete your temporary internet files and shut down all your computers, then do the following:

1. unplug the power to your modem
2. unplug the power to your router
3. wait 30-45 seconds and restore power to your modem
4. wait 60 seconds or until the lights stabilize on your modem
5. restore power to your router; wait until the lights stabilize
6. boot up your computer and try again.

Good Luck
