hi im using the super program which encodes videos. i downloaded it and im all set but when i try to encode active files i cant. my computer screen is too large and i cant scroll down to even seee the button. i need help urgently!

We have set up a wireless network in our home, but we are having a problem, we currently have 2 wireless laptops connected and they are working fine, we also have a desktop directly plugged into the router, but we are trying to add an extra laptop, it is running Windows XP, the Laptops are running Windows Vista Home Premium and the desktop is also running XP, the problem is when we try to connect to the Xp Laptop we can connect and it days the laptop is connected to the network, but we still can't get in the internet with it, and we checked and the Work Offline box is unticked. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

I'm setting up a wireless network for a school they have a wireless router and wireless access point. Both are set to the same WPA2 encryption, but each is set to a different SSID, the Router is "R1" and the wireless access point down the hall is set to "WAP1".

My question would it be better to give them the same SSID so it would be work and appear as one device that covers a large area or would giving them the same SSID cause a conflict?

I have a really good virus scanner on my pc from my satilite internet provider. it found a worm that's in side my Spybot seach and destroy. Says it's can't delete it because it's in that program. So what do I do? Did the spybot find it or did it download in with it? I had spybot before this scanner. What should I do?

I have a horrible spyware infection W32.Trats!inf. I have Norton 360 virus protection & it detects it and it says I have to manually uninstall and it gives me the directions, I do it then Norton says it got rid of it successfully but then I have to restart and it always is still there. It uninstalled my AVG. Did something with my Norton so its not working again and I'm going to have to reinstall it and my system is the slowest its every been and I've cleaned out countless files. Superantispyware has been run (3 times) it got rid of alot of other spyware but not this.

I have just got a new dell latitude laptop with vista installed. i plugged it into the home router and went online. i can access some websites fine (eg www.bbc.co.uk, www.msn.co.uk) but others don't work (eg www.google.co.uk or any google address & i can't access my hotmail account).
my old pc on the same home network can still access all websites with no problems today.

My computer is connected to the Internet by using a D-Link wireless adaptor plugged into one of my USB ports, and it gets its connection wirelessly to my 2-Wire gateway that AT&T Yahoo provided for our DSL.
My connection strength is always shown on the computer as being 100% or close to it. However, at random times I will not be able to connect to the Internet until I run the Network Diagnostics tool in IE7 to reconnect myself, or wait a few minutes and try again. My wireless signal strength is still at maximum during these disconnects, and I never get disconnected during a download. I am still capable of using the Internet, but it is such a pain in the butt to have to reconnect every few minutes or so.

Many thanks to whoever can help me make sure my connection is working all of the time. I don't know whether the problem comes from the D-Link adaptor, the 2-Wire gateway, or maybe both.

i have tried to run an install disk to try and install a printer
as not online yet, and when i get to a stage of the instalation process it says please insert driver disk so i do and it does nothing.
then after that i tried to play a DVD just to see if the drive works
looked on media player and the DVD is nowhere to be seen
i have fiddled with the plugs in the back of the drive but nothing seems to work

the disk turrns and the dive opens but the computer somehow cant read the disks can you help me?

the floppy drive is fine

the icon for the drive is not! listed in my computer.

do i have to open up my computer case and physically look at the PSU to find out how many Watts my power supply unit is?
will it have a sticker or label somewhere that will tell me?

or is there some easier way in windows XP control panel to find out.

- free
- no trials or xpirary
- no sub domain eg. www.host.com/example
i know its nearly impossible not to get a sub domain with a free site host, but if u know a non sub domain host pls mention.
