My internet is too slow, when i go on to speedtest.net, something weird happens, the needle goes into the red section, is this good or bad?

My internet speed is 40meg, the best in the world, no site can handle it, sooooooo fast

Go on, read and admire, super super fast, it says 29965mbits per second there, but its really something like 46,400mbits per second, one of the best in the world

Do you have cable, DSL, or dialup?
Has it ever been faster? If so, you may have caught a virus or something. What antivirus software are you using?

red section as in super fast speed? well i think it's your computer... you need to defragment your computer, remove adwares, virus scan and do disk clean up to remove un use programs, and keep your desktop screen and taskbar as minimum icons as possible. Pretty much a full mainain. OR format the computer and start fresh that way to insure you have good speed again.

delete the files and cookies and history in 'internet options'
and then close any small programs which might be running, look in your task bar because some may be running that you don't know of.

Do a virus scan on it; Internet usually works slower if there is a virus on your computer.

either get a better hard drive as in 20 mgb that would be good!
