do i have to open up my computer case and physically look at the PSU to find out how many Watts my power supply unit is?
will it have a sticker or label somewhere that will tell me?

or is there some easier way in windows XP control panel to find out.

thanks is advance (i will open it up if i have to)

Have to open it up I'm affraid, will say on a sticker somewhere on the PSU

You would have to open the case and take out the power supply and read the label that has the information as far as watts on it.

Yes you will have to crack it open. There should be a sticker on the psu with the relevant info.

If you want to avoid opening it up just go on the website for the company you bought it from and you should be able to find out there. Otherwise you will have to open it up.
