Hi, i've downloaded a 6GB game to my laptop which is not compatible with the game (it's an ISO image), and i need to somehow transfer it to my cousins laptop which is compatible. He has an 80GB iPod, but apparently a maximum of 4 GB is allowed to be copied per file...My laptop has a DVD-RW drive, and i dont think it can read/write dual layer DVDs like the 8GB ones. I need solutions to get my game there as soon as possible, because i'm quite angry at his iPod as i waited for the download to complete for a whole week. Please HELP! is there any way to like transfer files using a standard USB cable, or something similar (nothing too costly - let's say under $20 or £10). I would appreciate any help you can give me...Thank You for your time...

For a few days now, my laptop screen has been going black while I am using it and will stop responding completely. When I cut off the power and try to start it up again, it won't most of the time. When it does start up, it will always show the black screen and stop responding after a few minutes. What is wrong with it?

Hi, i have done some past papers (OCR 2506) and i am stuck on 2 questions and need help with it:

1) A computer is to use a printer to provide hardcopy output of jobs. In order for the data to be transmitted and recieved properly a protocol must be set up between the two pieces of hardware. State two parts of the protocol which would be essential in this example, giving reasons why they are necessary. (4)

2) Explain the term "layered interface" when describing intercomminication between devices and sate a reason for arrangeing the interface between devices in a layered fashion.

I am only completely stuck on these two questions and dont have a clue how to answer them, any help would be great

I am currently using the new iWork '08 having chosen it over Office for Mac. The problem with both of these suites is that neither of them work with publisher files (.pub). Are there any Free programs that can either open .pub files or convert them into Pages Documents.

Need help with excel overtime formula

I have been working on this formula for 2 days now and i have had no break.

The parameters for the formula go like this:
After 8 Hours, the worker gets overtime at time and a 1/2 (1.5)
After 40 Hours the worker gets overtime at (1.5)

I'm trying to upgrade my pc's hdd so I've taken the hdd out of the machine & installed it in another pc together with a larger hdd to copy onto. During copying I get this error message " cannot create or replace system volume information: access denied, make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use. Neither of points relates to me as I am using windows from from neither of the 2 hdds I've installed into the new machine. Tee new hdd has been formatted and is twice the size of the one I'm trying to copy. Can any body help! I thought this method would be easier methodinstead of installing xp on the new hdd then copying file accross.

How can I save money quickly? I'm around 12-14.

i have a good spyware blocker and remover and i usally do it every 7 days like it suggested...there isnt usally any spyware found when its finished except one thats always there and its called core adware...does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it??

I am having a hard to connecting to limewire because of my firewall. I do not want to turn it off, but i want to make limewire an exception. So i added it to the exception list. I do not know, however, what to put it as (incoming or outgoing connection?). I tried both, but limewire doesnt seem to connect still. This antivirus (trial) came with my new notebook.
