Myself I have never heard of "core adware". You can download the free version of Superantispyware. This software I use, and is well known to find what all other miss. You wil also get auto. daily updates. Run a complete scan.

I don't know what "good spyware blocker" you have that requires you to run it every 7 days and then leaves you with adware... but clearly if it is a "blocker" it should block automatically in real time and not require any 7 day running.

If you do not have a proper security suite installed and are only relying on this spyware blocker to deal with all malware then you have serious issues...

Since adware is a different type of malware than spyware, virus, worm, trojan... you need a proper security suite installed that deals with all of them in real time from a reliable vendor that is properly configured and kept up to date.. along with all windows security patches and program security patches...

Good Luck

Run Spybot and SuperAntiSpyware weekly.

Download, update and run Spybot---http://www.safer-networking.org/...... . Don't forget to use the Immunize feature.

Download, update and run SuperAntiSpyware---http://www.snapfiles.com/get/SuperAntiSp...

Now to prevent spyware from being installed in the first place....

Download SpywareBlaster---http://majorgeeks.com/download2859.html....
SpywareBlaster doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it prevents it from ever being installed.

It's main features include:
- Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
- Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
- Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.

To get the best results download superantispyware and spybot. Update them, then boot into Safe Mode and run them. You may also need to turn off system restore to clear all your restore points and then turn it back on.
