Laptop help?

While working on my laptop the screen started jumping. A seconds later it went black. With the light behind I can see the Icons. What can be the problem?

Tried restart and adjusting contrast still black

Is there any way that you can try to adjust the contrast and see if that is what's causing this?

If not, I'd suggest that you try to restart your computer and see if doing so helps you.

If those two things mentioned above don't work, I'd suggest that you take your laptop to a shop to see if it can be fixed or call the manufacturer.
