is there such thing as having too much Watts for your computer? i have a Antec 350Watt powersupply and i need to upgrade to 450Watts to use the X1950 ATI radeon video card. I just dont want my computer to up in smoke.

I would like it to be the cheapest it can be, because I am only young and will be paying for this entirely myself. I would like a gaming laptop, since the soul purpous of me getting one is so that I can play the games that do not work on my computer.
It dosen't have to have a TON of memory just enough to store the actaual capcity that the games will take, so around 256MB RAM. The hard drive should be around 3.5GB and a windows XP. Thanks x

i have an acer aspire 5633 wlmi.

it has a 5 in 1 card reader, and has 128mb shared graphics (intergrated).
how can i improve on the graphics, can i buy a graphics card for the laptop.
to play new games like Assasins Creed.

so it keeps telling me that the margines I've set are out of printable areas and it saids "fix it now" I clicked on that, but it made the margines like huge. the top is till 2.54cm but the bottom is like 12.7cm, and the left side is 5.72cm and right side is 5.71cm. which like gathers everything into a small box and doesnt show the whole document. but it saids it the defalt settings. how do i fix it? help please!

I was booting up! Is it some sorta of hacker? Sounds to me it might be my nasty sister that's been accusing me of trying to hide! But I really don't think she has the patience to do hacking! I am looking for a laptop for my 12 year old - simple email, IM, internet and some homework. Staples has HP Compaq Presario C712US Intel Pentium Dual Core T 2310 - for $349.98 or Dell Vostro 1000 - AMD Athlon TM 64 x 2 Dual Core TK -53 for $399. Is Vostro good for personal use? If Dell is better choice - should I go with Windows XP or Vista? Remember I'm looking for a 12 year old!

I have a Dell Dimension 4600, and I was wondering how you can disable the ethernet on the computer, preventing any OS from reading the Ethernet address?

I tried disabling "Network Interface Controller" in its F2 Setup at Startup, but to no avail. Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!
