Haha, everyone is over reacting!!!!
Beeping is perfectly normal when you boot up. It's letting you know that everything was ok during the POST (Power-On Self Test). Almost everyone's computer beeps once or twice when you boot it up.
However, if you get several beeps in a row, or it beeps in a pattern, then you have something wrong. But usually, it's just fine.
Jeeze, everyone's like a parent when their newborn coughs... lol

Is this a beep that only happens when you start or does it continue to beep and won't stop?
If it's just a one time beep it's a start-up beep sometimes. If it continues, your hard drive may be dying or you don't have enough memory. This is not an expert advice, I just had a similar problem and it was my hard drive dying when it continually beeped.

PCs usually beep a few times during start up - that's all good. If it keeps on beeping constantly, check to make sure there is nothing wrong with your keyboard!

It could be memory or HD problems. Or even power supply. Search for "bios beep codes" in Google. Good luck.
