To create a new library:
Open a piece.
Select File > New > Library.
The open library appears along with the Design window. You can include icons in the library whenever the library is open.
To open a library:
Select File > Open > Library.
Select a library file from the pop-up menu.
Authorware 7 library files have the extension A7L.
Click Open.
To save a library:
Select the library window.
Select File > Save.
To close a library
Select the library window.

Click the window's close box.

when you try to open the file it'll pop up a message saying it doesn't recognize the file.
you have 2 options:
the first is to choose a program to open the file with. this you should do only if you recognize the type of file and know which program should be used.
the other option is to search the internet, from within the message, for a suitable program.
you can also try doing an internet search for "files;lib"
