Sometimes my mouse becomes a little laggy... like, when I try to click on something, the mouse will either not recognize my click, or the computer will react to my click as if I clicked twice, even though I physically only clicked once. When this problem has happened previously, we solved it by clearing up a little more memory or uninstalling programs, but now there is nothing else we can clear up on the computer. Can someone please help me out with this problem? Thank you (:

I'm planning on getting a wireless network and a wireless keyboard/mouse combo, and obviously the network operates on 2.4 GHz. So if i get the "Kensington PilotBoard Wireless Laser Desktop" will things be messed up? I'm also going to get the "Belkin F5D8233-4 Wireless-N Broadband Router" along with belkin adapters. I'm new to networking and all this so any info would be a great help.

Do I need to buy it?

I tried downloading power point viewer 2003 and 2007

but that is only if you already have a power point saved on your computer i think

I'm trying to restore my Inspiron 2200 back to the default factory settings. I have Windows XP... When I got to system restore, it only lets me restore to a certain point. I want EVERYTHING I've put on the computer gone. Someone help please!!

I have Microsoft Windows 2003, and when I make a table and press "tab" to make more rows underneath, the table continues off of the page instead of going to the next page. Why is this and how do I fix it?

So yesterday i was using my PC and playing online and my screen froze. i tried ctrl alt del to get the task manager to comeup and nothing happened, so i pushed the manual reset button, then it would not reload, nothing except the powering on of my fans and hard drives, no bios, no video card info nadda, so i tested everything i had that could cause the problem, except the mobo and processor cause i didnt have other to use to test, so i bought a processor, its just an old socket 370 PIII, and replaced it and now it works great. So my question is, is that what happens when a processor goes out, or is there any other issues i need to investigate to ensure it does't happen again. And i dont need to hear, time to upgrade, cause i know and when i have money i will. Any other input is appreciated, thank you.

Whenever I try to open something in Adobe Reader, it won't open and I have to Ctrl Alt Delete to get it unstuck. The Adobe box opens but after that, it is stuck. I have tried removing it and reinstalling it and it does the same thing.

Second, my CD burner will play but not burn. I bought a disc cleaner and ran it through but it didn't cure the problem.

Help?

When I try to download MSN messenger I get this message. It says your download could not be completed because we could not find WINHTTP.dll
This is very frustrating and i'm going nuts so I would really appreciate the help

I had 6meg comcast cable for 2 years..I just got 15meg fios from verizon and it seems no different..I've done all kinds of speed test and get round 6meg d 2 up with comcast and with fios i get 15d 2 up but browsing seems slower with fios and downloading music from the same server i was using when i had cable, seems no different.. So my question is...Is fiber ops really better then cable? I dont think it is..

When I turn it on, it says there might be problem with the Hard Drive and tells me to press F-1.

After pressing F--1, Windows XP desktop comes up after like 5 min, but no icons. And it stays like that forever. Any advice of what to do, please?

My dad wants to get me a new computer but i dont really need one im fine with my XP but he keeps saying i should get Vista because its (new).

But people keep saying Vista has a lot of glitches that are still being solved. Should i wait like 6months-1 year?

I.accidently.spilled.some.broth.on.it.yesterday.and.I.cannot.use.the.spacebar.
Most of my keys work properly now.

I.am.trying.to.use.the.period.as.a.space.
I also use alt+32 as an alternate key for spacing.

I have been using compressed air to dry it,but still won't work.
Whatelse can I use to dry it?

Hi everyone, I'm not new to wireless networking however I am looking to buy a product that will allow me to get an even higher connection speed. My current maximum is 54 mbps, and I want at least 100 mbps and I recently discovered some products that can deliver some higher connection speeds but I was wondering if the high speed is a combination of my pci card and my router. If i buy a newer, better pci card then will I have to buy a new router to experience the fastest connection speeds?
I currently have a Linksys WRT54G router, so if I put the new PCI card in my computer and connected to the wireless network would I experience faster connection speeds or would I have to buy a new router as well?
