Help my spacebar is not working on my laptop?

Question

I.accidently.spilled.some.broth.on.it.yesterday.and.I.cannot.use.the.spacebar.
Most of my keys work properly now.

I.am.trying.to.use.the.period.as.a.space.
I also use alt+32 as an alternate key for spacing.

I have been using compressed air to dry it,but still won't work.
Whatelse can I use to dry it?

I am worried about getting shocked from the circuits if I take the keys off too.

just keep doing what you're doing it might take a while but it will dry soon. use a blowdryer?

You can leave it open and try to wait it out, but more than likely, there is a build-up on the spacebar key contacts that is hindering the use of the key.

It may need to be opened up and cleaned professionally, which is advisable, since the substance could actually lead to the motherboard shorting out and 'frying.'

Is it merely caught down? attempt getting some thing like a toothpick or a variety of steel-nail-filers and merely bypass around the edge of the spacebar key. it ought to must be wiped clean.

switch off - take a photo of your keyboard

Now remove all the keys carefully - and clean thoroughly.

now use the photo to put all the keys back in the right order

maybe go to a computer shop and get it fixed??

can you pull the key off and dry it out/ clean it out.

BUT dont break it...

then maybe something is lodged under the space bar button.
