I bought a brand new GATEWAY computer, but I can't find power point on it.

Do I need to buy it?

I tried downloading power point viewer 2003 and 2007

but that is only if you already have a power point saved on your computer i think

PowerPoint is part of Microsoft Office. It does not come standard with Windows. Office is not a free product and you must purchase it. You could Try Open Office which is free. Its equivalent to Powerpoint is called Impress

I've got a new Gateway computer and Powerpoint veiwer was installed already on it.
But if you want the proper Powerpoint your going to have to buy it off of Microsoft.

It would have to be part of Office. Did you pay for Power Point? Do you have office on your computer? If so then just go to Start programs and Microsoft Office. It would be there.

Power point is a microsoft product. It is part of Microsoft Office. It doesn't come with Windows, you have to buy it.
