I'm planning on getting a wireless network and a wireless keyboard/mouse combo, and obviously the network operates on 2.4 GHz. So if i get the "Kensington PilotBoard Wireless Laser Desktop" will things be messed up? I'm also going to get the "Belkin F5D8233-4 Wireless-N Broadband Router" along with belkin adapters. I'm new to networking and all this so any info would be a great help.

Yes, wireless keyboards/mice can interfere with wireless networks. I recommend wired keyboard/mice for people with wireless networks.
