Okay, I have a PC Laptop at the moment but I was wondering of a Mac would be better for what I do which is creative stuff like movie making and graphic art etc. But I also do some school work on it so I wasn't sure what was better.
A PC or MAC.

My dad works with computers for graphic art, movies, ex. and knows all about this stuff, and Macs are more expensive, but all around better computers, especially for what you want to use them for. For someone that likes to play games on their computer and online, PC's are better because more games are available, but other than that Macs are the best you can get. Hope I helped!! <3

For graphical stuff, Mac is better.

The drawback is that parts and repairs on a mac are obscenely expensive! Their advantage is the OS is dirt cheap and 10x more stable than the Windows OS's have been for years!

Now, if you plan to do more than just the graphical stuff, PC's have more options software wise, since they have dominated the market for over 20 years.

If you are going to specialise in graphical arts, the mac would probably be the better choice. You can pick-up Office for Mac for a couple hundred and do all your word processing and spreadsheets. Just remember, that upgrading your mac will be expensive. So...you have to think, is the Mac better for you when you already have a PC?

Well, both are good. I use both PC and Macs.

For creative things, Macs are easier to use.

If you get a new Mac, you can also use PC software on it so you won't have any trouble with your classwork.

It looks like you can have your cake and eat it too!

I'd go for the PC.
There are too many programs that are not Mac compatable.

I did and while there is a small learning curve re-learning the shortcut keys and what not, the flexability of a mac is definately worth it

A Mac is better, hands-down! We made the switch last year and I am glad we did.
