I have1.5 gh, 256 RAM, 32 mb Nvidia Geforce Mx100\200, and a 20 gb hardrive, however my computer still acts slow, especially in games. It can't even run Morrowind that good. I also scanned for viruses and spyware, and none were found. Why does my computer act so slow?

im trying to install a program to my SYSTEM but when i run it spysweeper blocks it because its trying to install online but i dont want to install it online...

so how do i install it to my system but not online?
is this possible??

hey I made a video which goes for 5 minutes and has 2 songs included. No special effects just basic cutting and editing and titles. when i render it takes FOREVER, it took 45+ minutes to render that as .wmv (modified for good quality) and ended up 41.2mb. is this normal or slow?

Heres my specs
pentium 4 processor
1.5gb DDR ram
128mb ATI radion grapics card
heaps of hdd space over 150+ gb
windows xp sp2 btw

What needs upgrading to speed up the saving time and how would it help? Thanks heaps

I just got a new Dell Inspiron 1521 about a month ago and now its messed up and i dont know what happened. I turned it on a couple days ago and a window popped up (before it started up) and it said there was an error and something was wrong and that i had to check some disk. Now that message doesnt pop up anymore but it did for the first 5 times i tried starting it up. And after that would pop up i would push ok and then the screen would be black but the little mouse icon was there and it would move but there was nothing there. Now when i start it up, all there is is the blank, black screen and the mouse arrow. None on the keyboard does anything and the only thing i can do it turn it off and on from the power button. Please help, i want to find out what caused this, whats wrong with it and how to fix it. Please!! Any info helps!! Thank you!!!

It's so frustrating! Everytime I play an fps game (first person shooter) my mouse freezes and gets stuck on the screen for a few seconds. I have to vigorously move the mouse around to get it moving again. I know it's not performance issues, my computer is only 1 year old. Is it the surface of my mouse pad? I have a Logitech MX Revolution laser mouse. I bought it because my old mouse was doing the same thing.

How do I stop my mouse from constantly freezing and getting stuck on my screen? It's getting me killed!

I have a newer laptop with Win XP and I'm wondering if I can connect an older printer that uses a parallel port cable to it. The laptop does not have a parallel port and the printer doesn't have a USB port. Is there any way to connect the two using some sort of adapter, etc? Thanks in advance!!

Hi, this isn't a joke. I've got a seriously mentally ill partner, and sometimes the only way I can cope is to go on a website support site in America, to talk to others who have partners with these mind disorders. What have I done? You guessed it! I wrote a letter to the support site, and sent it to him instead.
