One will probably run all of your devices with the correct drivers. And the other one will not have the drivers for most of your devices, and you'll be running to the store purchasing all new equipment (printer, scanner, camera).

Keep the WindowsXP Home until Windows Vista has all the necessary drivers for all the devices you have hooked into your computer.
