1) Defragment your Hard Drive (My PC>Right Click on "C:">Tools>Defrag. On Windows XP)
Remove any malicious software. Ad-Aware is nice and free, but you may also download an "Kaspersky antivirus" and it will let you use it for free for a couple of weeks
