I have a newer laptop with Win XP and I'm wondering if I can connect an older printer that uses a parallel port cable to it. The laptop does not have a parallel port and the printer doesn't have a USB port. Is there any way to connect the two using some sort of adapter, etc? Thanks in advance!!

you ought to to bypass to the HP internet site and seem for drivers to paintings with Win 7. looking on what version of win 7 you have could make a distinction. in case you the living house version then there is not something you're able to do. in case you have professional or purely ideal version, you could bypass to Microsoft and acquire their XP digital gadget, that ought to enable your printer to be known.
