ANY new proxy's? i mean new that arent blocked!

MY CHILDREN, MESSED WITH MY COMPUTER, AND SINCE THEN, IT HAS NOT BEEN WORKING RIGHT. I THINK ITS THE.......HELL, I DON'T KNOW, BUT THIS IS WHATS GOING ON. I CAN'T GO ON ANYTHING REQUIRING INTERNET EXPLORER...I CAN'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING...AND I DON'T WANT TO PAY ALOT TO GET IT FIXED......OR BUY A NEW ONE.....I HAVE WINDOWS XP.....SOMEONE TOLD ME I HAD TO DOWNLOAD A NEW VERSION OF "WORDS".......WHATEVER THAT MEANS...HELP..PLEASE

I am creating a website in Dreamweaver, and creating my graphics in Photoshop/Illustrator (I just dont like Fireworks)... I am having trouble with getting the colors to co-incide with one another.

I take the CMYK code for the color I am using on the website and then I will try to create a background in Photoshop with the same color. But when I enter the CMYK code in Photoshop, it comes out with a totally different color. I even tried to import the graphic in to Dreamweaver, and it really doesn't even match up... Is there a setting that needs to be changed in either of these programs? Has anyone else out there had this problem? Help!

I have a whole bunch of space on my d drive, but only a little bit on my c drive. Is there any way to transfer any of that from one drive to another? A program maybe that does that? I am not sure but I need more space on my c drive bad and I constantly move stuff to my d drive but my programs are still on c. Also if anyone can tell me how to MAKE something download on d instead of c please tell me that. Every time I install a program it goes to c and most the time doesn't give me an option to change it.

i used avg to scan and it deleted the ‘haha.js’ file. i dont think that my laptop is affected with the msn virus but after the file is erased, i cannot click into my c and d drives anymore it showed "cannot read script "D:\Haha.js ,This is inclusive of my thumbdrive too. i need help. i cannot format my laptop because i have important assignments in both the 3 drives. can anyone give me a solution without having to format it entirely? please and thanks.

I have a gateway FPD that use an ac adapter i don't have the orignal adapter but I tried using one from one of my laptops it either didn't have enough volts or amps I can't remember which one but when I turned on the monitor like a green transparent shiled was infront of the picture I was wondering could it be the ac adapter not being powerful enough to make the monitor work properly or is the monitor just bad?

I can purchase a 3ghz Dual Core Pentium D cpu for less than $100.00, but a Intel Core 2 Duo cpu costs over $300.00. What makes them so much higher? Would a 3ghz Dual Core Pentium D processor be an improvement on my 3ghz Intel Pentium4 processor?

I used to use a Pentium D 805 2.66 , I found it to be pretty ok. I never had any trouble. But now I have the chance to ship into a Core2 duo. My options are E6420 or E6550 or E6600. If you are a good computer nut then you will realise that something is in E6550 which is 1333Mhz FSB instead of usual 1066. How much performance impact it might cause. oh!, MY Motherboard is GA965GMS2 and using 512x2 DDR2 800 on dual channel. I heard that 1333 Mhz bus may effect the durability of 965 boards, In that case should I use a P35? Just give me your opinion.

I have private methods of a class and I need to use variables created by these private methods in other private methods of the same class. Now, should I declare the variable outside of the method at the beginning of the class and be done? Or do I need a public, static in front of it?

I keep getting an error with a stringtokenizer
Exception in thread "main" java.util.NoSuchElementException
and java.util.StringTokenizer.nextToken(Unknown Source)

my code at the line is as follows....
headerArray.add( Integer.parseInt( header.nextToken()) )

header is a stringtokenizer, headerArray is an arraylist of ints.
Only thing i can think of is its not finding the input file which it is in the correct directory

My dad did something to my computer which cleaned up my hard drive, by compressing files. I'm not sure how he did it, all I remember is he went in to something, and then box appeared, and he clicked on something...

I have a toshiba satelite. This is the second chord i have tried, i understand that the computer needs to be taken apart and them something re soddered where the ac addapter goes in. It was working for a while when i put in it crooked or not all the way (had to work it a little), but now is not charging it at all.

Im wondering if there is a temporary fix for this. I cant really take it anywhere right now. Is there some kind of metal i can slip in there, or foil or anything... just looking to see if anyone has done it before. Thanks

It's annoying have a million (8) black cartridges since it comes in the (8) color set. Then I have to buy the black (5). Why can't it use the black (8) cartridge when it needs black ink? What is the (8) black for anyways??
