I right clicked with the mouse to change the background and suddenly the veiwable area changed. I don't know what I clicked on and haven't been able to fix it. I have tried system restore, graphics, and monitor settings. I've adjusted the resolution and refresh rate, helped but not a fix. Should I unhook the monitor and plug it back in? I just want my work screens to pop up in a normal size again.

First off I connect to a router then to the modem. I already tried the 192.168.0.1 and that couldn't be found. I have a Motorola 5B5101 SurfBoard cable modem, and my router is a Linksys WRT54GS version 4 wireless router. I basically want to connect to my modem and open some ports that got closed for some reason (port 21 mainly). From what I know i need the modems external IP address to access it because there is a router in teh middle, but I don't know how to get it. So if you have any idea I can find out my modems external ip address or access my modem another way please leave an answer

I replace the "?'s" with "." and select to replace all. This is what it does:

I've succesfully replaced all with letters (e.g., I've tried replacing "g" with "f") and it only replaces the g's with f's, why does it not work properly with punctuation marks (in my case question marks and periods)?
How can I get to to work properly.

Hi all. I really need to delete my Internet History from my Work Computer (Internet Explorer). Nothing bad on it but i've been surfing a lot the last couple of months and i have to get rid of the evidence. 4sum reasn my laptop crashd 1day n now it always asks me 4 de d8 n tym on boot since den. I kno its possible 2 change de settings bcoz its 2nd hand n was ma m8s (buh he's not alyv ne mre) n he got it sorted when he had it. & also, de main power source is always on AC. it reads de battery but doeznt use it as de power source. its stuk on 97% from de last use n its nt bein usd or charged. but de little lytbulb 4 de battery lyts up still?!?! My m8 also had dis problem n he got it resolvd sum how. CAN SUM1 PLZ PLZ HLP ME OUT?!?!?

I have right now dial up, which basically means that i have a cable modem, everytime my computer heats up or is refreshing itself when it does that wierd humming noise it disconnects (my aol). would replacing it with a high speed modem which i will have tommorow fix the problem or is it a computer problem as a whole?

I have packard bell pc and usings windows xp home.
I installed service pack 2 and lost my sound.
I have run dxdiag and this tells me there is no sound card found
I have reinstalled drivers-and still cannot find sound card.
If i restore my pc to earlier date--sound comes back, but after reinstalling service pack 2 , i face the same problem.

Help pls--im going mad!!
