This game says Recommended: 512 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible Video card with Pixel Shader 3.0 (ATI Radeon X1600+ or NVIDIA 6800 GT/GS+ or better)

what if I were to say I had a 8600GTS nVidia 256 MB? would that be enough to play the game?

hi have a sony vaio vgn fs830 laptop problrm is it has 512 mb ram "512 MB PC2-4200 533 MHz RAM", and i wanna install microsoft vista on it , i got another 1 gb ram card "1gb ddr2 sodimm 5300/4200 pc2-667-533 200 pin"i know how to install it but my question is can i add this 1 gb card with the exsiting 512 mb ram or i have replace it with that???

i downloaded microsoft word because it cost 50 $ to buy the program ........so it worked for a good time...... but then i changed the settings and now its all screwed up ............ i tried detect and repair but then this box pops up and said that ..... the operation cannot be done//////// i dont know wat to do ........im going to explode ayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the new version of java version 6 update 2 and the old java version jre version 5 update 2 in my add/remove program. Is it safe to delete the old version? I like to keep the new version.

Each time I attempt to start Oblivion, it says oblivion has stopped functioning correctly, and closes the window before it even starts up.

I've even tryed to install Oldblivion which is supposed to help older computers run Oblivion, but the game still crashes before it starts.

OK so Ive NEVER used track changes or markup in Word, but the other day I opened someone elses document which had markup showing, and now whenever I open a new document, it defaults to showing markup.

Please note, I know how to get rid of it once the document is already open... what I need to know is how to stop it showing when I start a new document from scratch.

I was setting up Outlook and I couldn't seem to get it working, so I have a few questions:
1. What is the difference between POP3 and IMAP?
2. Is this determined by the email account I have (aol, gmail) or is it something to do with my internet connection?
3.If it relates to my internet connection how do I figure out which one I have?

I have a Linksys Wireless G router and My husband just brought in a Netgear Wireless router that has the same MBPS and is also a G router. Which one is the better one. Weve been using the linksys and my laptop isnt getting any better than good signal. Do you think the Netgear one might be better?
