I have and ASUS A7V8X-LA and a Sempron 3000+ 2.0 Ghz. I want to overclock my processor if i can because I am going to buy a 7800GS AGP. I want to get the best out of my video card. I am probably wishing to overclock it to 2.2-2.4Ghz if i can.

When I use the resolution button on my monitor the choices appear, but I cannot scroll down to my selection. Neither the arrows nor my mouse can scroll down. Any ideas? Thank you.

My question is, how do you burn a dvd? because whenever i burn video files ,that are 20 mins or so long, into DVD-R disc that is either 4.7 gb or 8 gb disc none of my dvd players(all of my dvd players can play all formats) can not read my disc it says its "empty disc" or "can not read disc" and whenever i try to play the dvd onto my computer its usually empty. Whenever i take a look at the disc it looks like nothing has bee burned onto it even though, during the burning process, i can hear my cd/dvd drive burning the video files onto the dvd it still does not work. This has been happening for a long time now and i have been so mad, so can anyone help me out please i have to make a lot of space on my hard drive because it is almost full!!

ps. i used both nero startsmart and Roxio Easy Media Creater 8 to attempt to make the dvds. I dont have Nero so all i have is Roxio

when I type a paper with a certain format it looks fine while on the screen but, when i go to print it out the format changes. I can't get it to print the way it looks on screen .

Currently looking for a new computer on ebay and at a local shop. I'm used to just looking at the Ghz speed, but now things seem to have changed at intel and they have a heap of different 'types' of pentium. My Q is, which one is better ?? I'm looking at 2 on ebay, 1 is a D 925 dual core and the other is a D 935. Or at a local shop there is an E 2140 and a E 6420. I'm LOST ! ! It used to be so easy. Do I just look at the Ghz speed ? Cause some of them are around the 1.8 ish speed and some are 3.00 Ghz ish speed. Just looking at it the D processors 'look' faster, but are they ? Can anybody shed any light on this for me ? I've not bought a computer for years and everything has changed ! What does D, E, Q all mean ??? What should I be looking for ? Any tips, advise ?? Many thanks guys, Steve.

I've got a old Gateway laptop running Windows 98 with a internal modem. I'd like to be able to have internet access at hotels or hot spots around town. What options do I have and what hardware/software would I need? I have a couple of usb ports, I'd prefer to use that if I could. Speed isn't a big issue, I'd mostly use it for email.

I currently have a Logitec Quickcam Express, which is pretty good. but i want to get a better webcam now, with a much better picture and mic included (my mic I use now was from Poundland lol)

They both work pretty good together, but I want to get a better one with better audio and video quality.

I have been on Ebay and there are 100's of them.

I don't mind paying up to about £40 for the best one I can get, but I am so stuck to which one I should get.

All the technical data is way over my head.

Pixels and all that, what do i need to look for??
