I am wanting to learn how to fluently use Excel and Quicken so I have the experience. What are some good tools, or websites, or programs, that will be really user friendly?

I used video professor for basic, intermediate and advanced and with my determination, it worked out great.

First of all, you don't have to be a whiz to know the software, but you will need some interest and desire to learn and understand the software.

When I finished with samples from Video Professor teaches Excel, I bought an intermediate Excel book and went through the samples. I thought I knew most of excel at the time I got through video professor, but reality, when I started a new job that dealt with links, pivot tables, a few macros, I thought I was going to be let go pretty soon, but I found alot of help with functions and steps within the help section (so you will access to the internet for best scenarios). Help is tremendously helpful and some people downplay help, but not, I'm secure and running both forward and reverse logistics for my company. Talk about become so valuable I got promotted to supervisor within 4 months.

In summary, video professor, intermediate excel book, and excel help function placed it all in perspective.

Hope that helped, if you have questions, feel free to email me at haste@yahoo.com.

Quicken isn't hard to use. I feel you can set up your accounts without any support other than the help files. Good luck.
