When you click START, then go to PROGRAMS, is there a folder on your programs list pertaining to your webcam?

If so, move your mouse pointer to it, if a subwindow pops out to the side, then look for an .exe (start) file in the list. Right click on that and choose "Create a Desktop shortcut".

If no subwindow pops out to the side, then just right click on the folder itself and choose "Create a Desktop shortcut".

usually the software for it will be installed when you first set up your laptop..

it depends what brand of laptop you have...
with some, you usually have an icon on the left side of the screen that you can click on,
with some, you have to kinda hover your mouse over the left side of the screen and the webcam menu kinda pops out from the side...

so .. depends what brand u have.. usually it will have instructions in the manual that comes with the laptop that is preinstalled and accessible from the desktop..

Go to the Start lower left, and then select all programs, look for and click the softwares icon. Or you may have to re-download the software.
Try to plug in the WebCam and restart your computer and see if it recognises the camera.
If you re-download the Camera Software plug it in and then install the disc.
