Are there any other really good informational sites like Yahoo Answers? What are the best sites whereby you are able to ask a question to the general public and take advantage of a wide range of peoples' experiences and knowledge?

To my knowledge, the Yahoo Answers site format is unique. I'm not aware of any other sites like it. The concept though, is nothing new: there are a ton of forums on the Internet, but they are usually dedicated to a specific topic whereas Yahoo Answers is everything under the sun. It's the same idea though. The other main difference is that discussions often ensue. Some forums have point systems and such where you get points for how often you post and what not. Also look into newsgroups. You can browse them at http://groups.google.com, but if you really want to get into it, you need a dedicated news client.

If you speaks English, Yahoo Answers is the best. According to Hotwise USA, Yahoo Answers has 96% market share in Answer sites category. If you speaks Korean, then Naver.com is the best place!
