I have photoshop Elements on my old Windows Computer, is there anyway that i could get Elements on my new mac without havint to for over a ridiculous amount of money for it?

Note: I've also asked all my teachers and friends.

And also, could anyone tell me how to open 2 windows on the safari browser? I know its probably simple, but this is my first mac.

Thankyou :)

Just to correct the poster above me, you can download Firefox on Mac, it's completely compatible. I'm working on it right now. :) To open a new browser window, just hit "Ctrl+N" or "Ctrl+T" for a new tab (LOVE tabbed browsing, best invention ever!).

Mac and Windows programs are completely incompatible though, you will need to buy a new version of Photoshop Elements, make sure it's a Mac version also. Either check online or your nearest Apple Store.

First let's clarify a couple of things.
Adobe's Photoshop Elements-2 is machine specific. So if you have it on a PC it will not download on a MAC.
2nd Adobe Photoshop Elements-2 costs under $30.00.
and last but not least there are no free downloads you have to buy it for the Mac.

(a) Alas, it's not free. You might find a free alternative.
(b) Ditch Safari. Get Camino (basically Firefox for Mac). Then Ctrl+T opens a new tab.

First of all, please do not post your question two times.

Photoshop: Nope, you have to buy it twice.

Safari: Just go to file-new window.
