I downloaded bootcamp for my computer and it wont work.?

When I put in microsoft xp disc to install the screen freezes up at the part where you are supposed to hit return to continue.

Did you install BootCamp and run it. It should have created a Driver CD for use during the XP install.

If you did all that already, then you must use a legal full version of XP, not an XP Upgrade CD.
