It is a POWERFUL desktop with just an entry level (cheap & slow) graphics card. As it is, it will be lousy for most current games. That set up deserves at least a Geforce 8800GTS but it would be pretty awesome with an 8800 Ultra.

Yep, that is a fairly good gaming computer. My only recomendation is to upgrade the video card. The 8400 GS isn't very good for gaming, i would go with the 8800GTS or even the 8600GT.

The 8800 GTS is probably the best one right now at the price it is at.

Other than the video card, everything is excellent.

hell no get intel its owns with the quad core video card bit sad but otherwize its okay get a disk drice preferably sata its fasta good all round dont get vista unless u really really need it i still have windows xp home i run games maxed out on my system i got 4000mb ram tho very good cpu in it i got exactly the same it ownnzzzzz get a monitor !!! lol dont bother with wireless kb and mouse get wired teyre faster nd u dont havta buy and batteries constantly eg:: [playing really good game and winning] ahhhh my batteries r flat im gonna lost omg!!!!

Ok except for the video card. Get an 8800 series instead.

No get an AMD chip for a processor. it's the preferred chip for gamers
