When I first open an IE window or when I open multiple IE windows they open in small windows and I have to click the "expand" button for them to fit my screen. Is there a setting I can tweek so that they all open expanded?

If I recall correctly, out of all the computer users, only about 6% use Macs.

Now that Macs are running x86 architecture, an OS X port to the PC would be simple. And people are already running OS X on PCs with hacks.

Why would a company ignore 94% of their potential customer base? It seems kind of dumb to me.

I've got a limited budget, and don't mind a little cosmetic damage (scratches/scuffs), performance is more important to me, as I'd probably just scratch a new laptop anyway.

The PC Link light on my modem is off when I connect it to my desktop, but it still works through my laptop. I called Comcast and after a series of tests they said my ethernet card was fried. I have no experience messing with the insides of the tower. Is technical know-how required to replace the ethernet card or it is as simple as taking the old one out and putting in the new one? Do you know of a good place to get a new one? I'm running windows XP. Thanks.

It is a hewlett packard with windows 98. It runs and works well last time I used it (but this was a couple years ago, I have to turn it on and see how it is I guess) but I don't know where any of the cds are, but it has all the cables and stuff.
