I think that may have a betterchance at diagnosing and riding bugs. I forgot how to run in diagnotics. My OS is Win XP SP2 MCE

First, there's little point in running modern anti-virus programs in "diagnostic" mode. It won't tell you anything differently between diagnostic and normal running modes; it'll simply confuse you, and may even cause you to forget to take it out of diagnostic mode, and, thus, not remove any viruses! If you have a virus, you can't ignore it, and, respectfully, if you can't figure out how to put it into diagnostic mode, then you are probably not technically proficient enough to diagnose anything, so let the program do its job.

Second, I have no idea what you mean by "riding bugs"!
Are you asking us for a tiny saddle? ;)

Third, you don't say what anti-virus program you are using, so nobody can offer any specific help!

You can run an AV scan in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode either hold down or tap the F8 key repeatedly while the computer is starting up.
