Go to www.epson.com, find your model, click on tech support, and download the manual. You may also have to download the drivers and install them on your computer before the thing will work.

Take a picture of the pictures with a digital camera? Besides this odd way, there's only one way to get an image of a physical photo to your computer - either directly to your computer or onto a separate computer then to a disk or other external storage device, then to YOUR computer - and that's a scanner. You have to capture the image of the photograph in some way.. your options are limited.

Read The Friendly Manual (RTFM) for your scanner and follow the installation instructions. After installing the included software, open the Scanner program and click on the Help Tab. All will be revealed.
Still Stuck?
Call the manufacturer for tech support.

Click on the printer, choose scanner, place your photo in the scanner, check preview & color print, then scan. The pic should appear in the preview window. Click the picture to bring up a dotted line box and use the mouse to adjust the box size to the picture or box the part of the picture you want scan and click to scan & save. (anything inside the box will be scanned and saved)
The save box gives you a location or you can choose a different file to save to; plus, name the picture.

Well it would help if you had the manual haha and also the name of Scanner. The machine should be pretty simple. Just put what you want in the machine. Turn it on. Press the scan button.. follow the instructions on the machine and presto! your all set. its not that difficult. I hope that helps

Yes it is possible and I assume you have a scanner but you need to tell us what model it is? Did you install the drivers and do you have the manual? Let us know.

Load the scanner software on your pc.
Then activate the scanner-either via the pc or manually
My scanner does a pre-scan
1.Then I tell it to scan
2. Ask me to save as? Name the picture
You should as a rule save in jpg. Format
3. I save as my pictures in windows xp
****If any issues try activating the help section of the scanner software you have loaded.
