Certainly. If you don't abide by the terms of the licensing, for example making too many copies or distributing the download to someone else, you're violating the law.

That's a very mature and intelligent question.

Assuming you are using a legitimate website, who has paid licensing and/or royalty fees to the publishers in exchange for selling their goods, games, software, music, or whatever, then you need not be concerned about copyright infringements.

However, if you are required to pay an annual fee for that copyright (I'm not talking about "upgrades"), which is pretty rare these days, then you *would* be violating the copyright agreement. You need to check the user agreements that you (and just about everyone else!) probably ignored when they clicked on "accept", or similar, to "join" (i.e., use) that site.

Of course, you cannot resell or, technically speaking, give them to anyone else, without violating that same copyright.

Only if you buy the downloads from someone who has a right to sell them.

Otherwise it is piracy
