i just got a new computer and i need to know how can i transport all of my pictures from my old computer to my new comuter. also i need to do the same thing with my itunes account how do i do these? i tried and tried i did everything but got no results can someone please help me? thank you very much in advance.

Okay so here it goes again. I did a system restore on one of the computers of a network. When it came time to set up the internet connection i typed in one of the other computers ip address. Then when i tried to get on the internet. The page doesnt display. How do i change the to the correct ip address and will changing only the ip address make the internet work?

it's not like a smooth all-the-way-through or steady stream of video. For example on you tube, instead it kind of skips every 2 or 3 seconds. I've already tried updating my video drivers, but that didn't help. Let's see, I use cable Internet, I usually don't run other programs while I'm watching a video. I do get to see the video all the way through, but like in a music video, I hear the whole song without trouble, it's just the video. Is there anything else I could do because it gets really annoying. Thank you for your answers!!

I have a new Dell with a router set up. I have a laptop with the wireless internet card through the router above. I also have an old Gateway computer in a different room that needs an internet connection. Can I use the same router or do I need something else altogether. It's old.

Everytime I try to install something onto my computer (MP3 player, digital camera) It installs, then says there was a problem installing and none of it works. I have tried everything I can, including choosing my own paths from where to intsall from and nothing works. Any suggestions?

I've asked this question before but got no answers so im gonna simplify the question. What is the best way to send a constant "1" signal through a serial cable with Liberty BASIC? All it needs to do is trigger a transistor to turn a motor on and off. I know, I should use C or something, but im fairly familiar with BASIC languages and the liberty site boasts good hardware interface. THANKS!

I want to get the white Macbook with 80gb of hard drive. I have to wait until my birthday in october to get it though.

I'm afraid that with all the extra stuff that leopard has that it will take up too much of the hard drive space.

I will use the computer for school papers, internet, instant messaging, and downloading music. I may install photoshop just to play with when i'm bored.

Do you think leopard will take up a lot of hard drive space?

I'm editing a PowerPoint presentation and am trying to figure out how to get rid of this box-like thing behind the images in this presentation. Because I didn't create this effect, I'm not sure how to remove it.

It almost looks like there is a black box behind and slight offset from the image. Ungrouping doesn't help, so that means the box is not a separate object or image. And I don't see anything in the picture toolbar that will let me eliminate that option (it's not a border--I've already removed those). I can't crop it out, either, which means it's got to be a PowerPoint effect. Any thoughts?

well my hard drive just got replaced because it was making sounds, freezing, and turning off on me, then yesterday i fell asleep, my computer was on(i was scanning my computer and had yahoo messenger and firefox running) then when i woke up i checked on the computer and none of the programs that were running were open, it was like the computer was just turned on/restarted. i dont know if i should be worried since my computer is running like new and it hasnt done anything of what i mentioned above(stuff that happened when my hard drive was still broken)

is there a way to check what happened to my computer or should i just leave it alone?
