Where can i get a LCD TFT 15.1 XGA Screen for laptop, Or Will any old working screens same size fit into this laptop.
I have searched ebay and no joy.
Can anybody tell me which other laptop screens will fit into this packard bell E2560 Easynote.

I realise others have asked this, there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer. I have tried disabling the welcome screen, but then I have to enter a password when I startup. I never used to have to do this and I don't know why I do now.

there is no scrolly thing on the bottom. Therefor, I cannot register to get on My Coke Rewards. This is making me crazy! Please help me so I can go on My Coke Rewards and can get this off my mind!

I just need to know if somehow you can readjust the screen so it it smaller.
-I tried to minimize the screen, but it still didn't readdjust and the scrolly thing on the bottom didn't appear as it usually does!

PLEASE HELP!

Hi,

Heres my query:

$query = "INSERT INTO tags (tag_id, tagger_id, location_name) VALUES ('$fn', '$ln', '$e')";

My problem is that it only works when tag_id, tagger_id, location_name are in the database as the first three columns, what am I doing wrong?

I am trying to make a easy batch file and have used the "choice" command to display 1,2,3,4,5 for the options. How do I proceed so that the corresponding keypress will execute the appropriate external following batch file that corresponds to the number pressed? I have tried to use the "IF" command and was only able to get "1" to work. All following keypresses executed the same batch as pressing "1". Kinda lost and new to the wonderful world of dos. Thanks for any help.

I tried installing xubuntu on my old emachines T1840, but it was painfully slow. I was looking through videos on youtube and saw this video:http://youtube.com/watch?v=lfynuxypzoo.....
This guy has a worse processor, the same ram, and a better video card and xubuntu is running amazingly on it.

I used the newest version of xubuntu, so I'm wondering if the new on has higher system requirements than the older versions. Do you think I'd have better luck installing an older version of xubuntu?

I have a computer I got in '04 that I had to leave in storage when I moved from Arizona to where I live now. It's in your average storage locker at one of those places, but it's NOT temperature controlled. I haven't been able to go back since I left it there in February.. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience or knowledge on how a computer could survive in an area with 100+ heat for atleast 4 months out of the year. Is it likely that it will still work? Or will it just not boot up when I go to pick that and the rest of me belongings up? I'd appreciate HONEST and REAL answers from people.. none of those sacrastic responses saying I shouldn't have left it there.. thanks.

OK HERE GOES currently got compaq 07d0h motherboard and amd athlon 2200+xp chipset, and 512mb ddr ram am looking for dual core processor and new motherboard and somrthing that will take 2048mb ram and two 500 gig hdd any suggestions will be greatly appreciated money is sort of limited so will be using sound and graphics card from this pc if you can reccomend anything it would be great

Hi! I recently asked a question about wether I could upgrade my PC's processor. I called Alienware Tech Support, gave them my info, and said that I could. They then gave me two options on processors that I could have them install. Problem is, I'm a little strapped for cash, so I'd rather get it from a place like Newegg. I asked him if I bought one from a store and installed it, what would happen, and he said it would void my warranty. Should I take that risk, or should I just save up?

I want to get ubuntu. If you check out the site http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download you will see it says "What type of computer do you have?" Which should I choose? Here are my system specs that I copied from Control Panel > System:

I just bought a new Compaq laptop.
Not sure why its not connecting to the network at home even though i have DSL cable for my desktop. If i click at " find available network" it still doesn't show any network....
Any suggestions?

Would those be different email adresses, or are they the same e-mail adress? Because I sent my friend an email at hotmail.it and she didn't get it. So I figured if I send it to example@hotmail.com, would she then recieve the email? What is the difference between .com and .it?
